Kathmandu, Oct. 1: Various organisations have urged one and all to support for treatment of ailing journalist and litterateur Bijay Kumar Pokhrel (BK Palpali) who is underway treatment at the Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital.
Pokhrel an editor and publisher of the Nepal Border Weekly is a member of Press Chautari Nepal, Kathmandu district committee. He is a patient of kidney-related disease and the TUTH has referred him to the Medant Hospital, New Delhi for further treatment.
The Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Kathamndu district committee has been collecting assistance for the treatment of Pokhrel, constituting a committee under the chair of its president Govinda Chaulagai.
Similarly, PCN, Kathmandu district committee is also collecting funds for his treatment, according to Committee Chairman Shantaram Bidari.
Anyone wishing to extend help for the treatment of ailing journalist Pokhrel arerequested to deposit the amount in his wife’s accounts K-47159-S (Kumari Bank) or 020-217410 (KIST Bank). RSS
