Political stability in Nepal will help India too, Indian Ambassador Ray says

Kathmandu, Sept. 30: Indian Ambassador to Nepal Ranjit Ray has said that the age-old relationships between Nepal and India should be taken to a new height.

Speaking at a programme organized by the Nepal-India Friendship Association to welcome the newly-appointed Indian Ambassador in the capital on Monday, Ray said that India was ready to extend full support for Nepal’s economic development.

“Political stability in Nepal will have direct benefits to the Indian government and the Indian citizens. So, India wants political stability in Nepal. Political stability will open up door to economic development,” the Indian Ambassador said.

He also said that instability in Nepal will have adverse effects in India and added that both countries should work together for political and economic stability.

Ray further said that the government of India was ready to hold talks openly and transparently in each and every issue for stability and development of the both countries.

During the programme, Ambassador Ray released a book ‘Adhyatmamala’ written by Hareram Poudel. RSS
