Gaushala, Sept. 30: The Dalit Primary School at Gonarpure VDC-5 in Mahottari district is without classrooms for the last five years.
The school is operating from a thatched shed as it lacks funds to construct brick and cement school building.
One hundred and fifty students, mot of them from the Dalit community, are studying at the school. The school runs classes from Grade 1 to 5 in the same shed.
It also lacks adequate furniture, as a result, the students take classes sitting on the floor. The school closes on rainy days. RSS
