Sankhuwasabha, Nov. 3: Tight competition is predicted among the three major political parties in the Constituent Assembly (CA) election in the district this time.
The district has two constituencies. Though the 18 candidates from various political parties including independents are in the fray in constituency No. 1 and 13 in constituency No. 2 in the district, only three major political parties- the UCPN (Maoist), Nepali Congress and the CPN (UML)- are in tough competition, it is learnt.
Likewise, Purna Kumar Rai of UCPN (Maoist) was elected from the Constituency No. 1 and Dambar Khadka of CPN (UML) from Constituency No. 2 in the previous CA election. RSS
