Dhangadi, Nov. 18: Two people died of burns after a house of Ganesh Chaudhary of Narayanpur VDC in Kailali district caught fire on Sunday night.
The deceased has been identified as Janaki Chaudhary, wife of Ganesh, and an infant of 40 days, according to Nabaraj Rawal, Assistant Sub-Inspector at the Tikapur Police Office.
Ganesh was also injured in the incident and he is undergoing treatment at Tikapur Hospital, added Rawal.
The incident took place as the diesel gallon caught fire from a tuki lamp at a time when they were sleeping, it is learnt.The house was completely destroyed from the fire. RSS
