Jumla, Nov. 18: An unidentified group has set ablaze a passenger bus (Na.4Kha. 8656) parked inside the bus park in the district headquarters Khalanga.
The incident that took place at around 1:30 am early today came to light when bus staff sleeping in another bus nearby woke up due to the noise created by the burning bus.
The fire was put out after local police was informed about the incident. But the bus was completely damaged in the fire. Some houses nearby also suffered minor damage due to the fire.
The bus operated under the Kakrebihar Transport Entrepreneurs Committee was owned by Sahuraj Lama of Latikoili VDC, Surkhet.
Meanwhile, police have arrested two suspects on the charge of involvement in the arson. Further investigation is underway, police said. RSS
