Nepal-India border sealed

Rautahat, Nov. 17: The Nepal-India border area in Rautahat district has been sealed from Saturday until the next notice in view of security threats in the district, in the build up to the November 19 CA elections.

According to Chief District Officer (CDO), Dil Bahadur Ghimire, the movement in the Nepal-India border has been banned in view of the security sensitivity during the CA election.

Similarly, the local administration in Siraha sealed Nepal-India border in Siraha district from Saturday itself. The presence of security personnel was also intensified in the border areas that are considered to be sensitive from security point of view in the district.

The local administration in both districts have also completely banned movement of all sort of vehicles and people, and transport, use and sale of any alcoholic items during the election period. RSS
