Kathmandu, Nov. 17: Chairman of the CPN-Maoist, Mohan Baidya, has urged for the initiative to hold dialogue and forge national consensus. Issuing a press release on Sunday, Chairman Baidya urged the government, political parties and civil society for taking initiatives for the talks and national consensus.

Expressing grief over the untoward incidents occurred in different parts of the country in course of the vehicular strike called by the 33-party front, Chairman Baidya made it clear that some of the powers were carrying out violent activities to tarnish the CPN-Maoist’s image.

In the press release, he further said the election boycott programme with vehicular strike would be peaceful.

The party has demanded the government to release its leaders and cadres unconditionally. RSS
