Parasi, Nov. 10: As many as three persons died in separate accidents at different places in Nawalparasi district today. An unidentified woman aged around 20 years died after a vehicle hit her at Harkapur-4 along the East-West Highway this morning, according to the Area Police Office, Gaindakot.
The driver is at large along with the vehicle and search for him is underway, said police.
Similarly, Lalmaya Sinjali, 45, of Devchuli-2 died being caught in a thresher at Kirtipur of Devchuli-2.
According to the Area Police Office, Nawalpur, the accident took place after her hair was entangled in the thresher of a tractor (Na 3 Cha 1503) in course of harvesting paddy.
Sinjali died on the way to hospital, said police. Police have arrested the tractor driver and impounded the tractor.
Likewise, a motorcyclist died in a road accident at Hakuin-6 along Parasi-Bhairahawa road section this morning. The deceased has been identified as Om Narayan Chaudhary, 22.
The accident took place when an Indian number plated truck (UP 53 CT 0735) heading towards Bhairahawa from Parasi hit a motorcycle (Lu 5 Pa 9684) coming from the opposite direction. The motorcyclist died on the spot in the accident, said police. RSS
