Saptari, Nov. 6: Considering the security in the Constituent Assembly election, motorcycles with Indian number plates have been banned here from Wednesday.
The District Police Office said the motorcycles with Indian number plates have been banned till November 19 in view of the security and possible criminal activities.
Deputy Superintendent of Police Shyam Singh Chaudhari said ban on Indian motorcycles can prevent the mobility of the criminal gangs entering Nepal through different check points during the CA elections.
Meanwhile, the police destroyed hooch collected from different parts of the district today.
As many as 500 liter liquor produced illegally was destroyed in the presence of news reporters. RSS
