Kathmandu, Nov. 3: Chairman of the UCPN (Maoist), Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that majority should be given to his party to fully empower the people with their rights.

Addressing a corner meeting organised at Baghbhairav of Kirtipur after a door-to-door campaign of Kathmandu Constituency No. 10 this morning, Dahal said the UCPN (Maoist) should be given majority as the party has carried the agenda of the Nepali people.

Stating that the election to the Constitution Assembly (CA) declared for November 19 was the last election for CA, he expressed the view that this election would be instrumental to fulfill the people’s dream of change.

Dahal argued that those not wanting to give rights to the people would be limited to pages of history and urged not to underestimate people as people’s awareness level has increased.

The UCPN (Maoist) Chairman said the CA election would be held at any cost and claimed that there is the people’s wave of support towards the UCPN (Maoist) across the country.

He said this election was an election of ‘life and death’ for his party.Urging other political parties for healthy political competition, Dahal pointed out that a wrong message would go if one presents himself in an apolitical manner. RSS
