JEMC, begins printing ballot-paper for FPTP system, PR completed

Bhaktapur, Oct. 17: The Janak Education Material Centre (JEMC) has concluded the printing of ballot-papers the for Proportional Representation (PR) system and started printing the ballot-paper for the first-past-the-post (FPTP) system under the CA elections 2013 from Thursday.

The centre had started printing ballot-papers for the PR system of the Constituent Assembly (CA) under tight security circle of Nepal Army, Armed Police Force (APF), and the Nepal Police since October 5, according to the JEMC.

The Centre has started printing with a target of concluding the task within November 7 and has been working 24 hours, said Managing Director of the Centre, Anil Kumar Jha.

The centre printed around 10 million ballot-papers for PR system in light red colour while it will print the similar quantity of ballot-paper in light blue colour for FPTP system. RSS
