Kanchanpur, Oct. 16: Various political parties have fielded 19 candidates from the Rana Tharu community in Kanchanpur district for the direct election in the upcoming CA election.
According to the Rana Tharu Struggle Committee, there are seven candidates of the community from Constituency No. 1, eight from 2, three from 3, and one from 4.
Chairman of the Rana Tharu Struggle Committee Bhoj Raj Rana said they have urged candidates to make the region Ranatharu sub-region autonomous wherever the community-inhabited Kailali and Kanchanpur districts lie in the new province. RSS
