Kathmandu, Oct. 11: Senior leader of the CPN-UML Madhav Kumar Nepal has said that the responsibility of drafting constitution should be taken by casting votes with rationale.
At a greetings- exchange programme organized jointly by the Sahayogi Nagar Samaj and the Sahayogi Youth Club at Koteswor in the capital, to mark the Dashain, Eid, Tihar and Chhath festivals and Nepal Sambat new year 1134, leader Nepal made commitment to draft the constitution in one year by making a framework in six months.
He also urged the government to make security stringent at a time when the people’s candidates are being killed. Nepal is the candidate of the party in Constituency No. 2 of Kathmandu.On another note, Nepal said although festivals belong to some communities, they strengthen national unity as they also affect others as well.
