Kathmandu, Oct. 9: Japanese Ambassador to Nepal Kunio Takahashi paid a farewell call on Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi at the latter’s office on Wednesday.
During the meeting, matters relating to the cordial relations between Nepal and Japan as well as Japanese support to the socio-economic endeavours of Nepal were discussed, according to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers.
Views were also exchanged about the near-coming elections to the Constituent Assembly in Nepal. On the occasion, Ambassador Takahasi, who is returning home after completing his term in Nepal, expressed happiness for being able to contribute to the economic development of Nepal during his term. RSS
