Kathmandu, Oct. 9: Vice-chairperson of the National People’s Congress Standing Committee of the People’s Republic of China Yan Junqi called on President Dr Ram Baran Yadav at the latter’s office in Rastrapati Bhawan this late afternoon.
On the occasion, matters relating to mutual interest and issues of common concern were discussed, according to the Office of the President.
Ms Yan, who is also the Vice-chair of the Chinese People’s Organization for Peace and Disarmament, arrived here Tuesday on a five-day visit. She is leading a 13-member Chinese delegation. During the meeting, Chinese Ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai was also present. RSS
