Lalitpur, Oct. 9: The District Election Office, Lalitpur, organized a one-day orientation programme on election code of conducts for the candidates of the November 19 polls.
During the programme, Chief of Lalitpur Election Office Tek Narayan Kunwar shared about the various aspects of the election code of conduct, provisions about election on Acts, laws and the provision of punishment to the violators of the election code of conducts.
Likewise, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ramesh Kumar Bhattarai shared ideas about the entire CA election activities and security of the candidates.
Also speaking at the programme, Chief District Officer Shashi Shekhar Shrestha said that support and coordination from all sides was needed to make the CA election fair, neutral and credible.
On the occasion, all 110 candidates including 16 women from three constituencies of the district were present. RSS
