Home minister directs security agencies to coordinate for elections

Dhangadi, Oct. 7: Home Minister Madhav Prasad Ghimire has directed all security agencies to work in coordination based on a security plan for the safety of the polling centres of the November 19 CA election.

Speaking at a seminar on the integrated security plan for CA election 2013 here Monday, he also instructed the security authorities to give priority to the security of the candidates.

He also said the CA elections were essential for establishing civilian supremacy.

At the meeting, Home Secretary Janardan Nepal, Defense Secretary Atmaram Pandey, Regional Administrator Raj Kumar Malla, Nepali Army Lieutenant General Netra Bahadur Thapa, Inspector General of Nepal Police Kuber Singh Rana, Inspector General of Armed Police Force Kosh Raj Onta were present. RSS
