Bhaktapur, Dec. 6: Local leaders of Nepali Congress (NC) thrashed CPN-UML cadres allegedly for not voting for NC in the November 19 Constituent Assembly (CA) election at Bageswori VDC in Bhaktapur.
NC cadre Jivan Khatry from Bhaktapur constituency no. 1 beat up CPN-UML’s cadre Rameswor Lamichhane of Bageswori VDC-3 this afternoon while the latter was at his own shop, complained Lamichhane.
Lamichhane, who received treatment at Bhaktapur Hospital after the incident, returned home today, said Binod Lamichhane, a local.
He complained that the police also turned deaf ear to take action against the perpetrator even after filing complaint. RSS
