Four UCPN (Maoist) cadres injured from NC attack

Trishuli (Nuwakot), Nov. 12: As many as four UCPN (Maoist) cadres were injured after cadres of the Nepali Congress attacked them at Samari in Nuwakot district early this morning.

The NC cadres attacked a team led by UCPN (Maoist) village committee chairman, Rameshor Khadka at 1:30 am.           Chairman Khadka, his sons—Raghu Khadka and Machhindra Khadka, and another cadre Ram Kumar Khadka were injured after the NC cadres attacked them while they were talking at a house of voters. Ram Kumar has sustained minor injuries.

The three critically injured have received head and neck injuries and have been sent to Kathmandu for treatment this morning, said UCPN (Maoist) district leader, Harinath Khatiwada.

The UCPN (Maoist) blamed that a group led by Constituency President of NC, Jagat Tamang, had attacked its cadres. RSS
