Saptari, Nov. 11: CPN-UML senior leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has claimed that the constitution would be promulgated within six months if his party gained majority in the November 19 Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

Addressing a gathering at Kalyanpur VDC in Saptari on Monday, he further said, ‘Give majority to UML, it will deliver constitution with federalism within six months.’

Alleging that the constitution-making was not materialized for the UCPN (Maoist) being the largest party in the earlier CA election, he further said that the constitution was not promulgated in the past four years due to rigidity on part of Maoists and Madhes-based parties.

‘UML favours the model federalism that does not disintegrate but strengthen the country where every one can live a life with dignity’, he added. RSS
