Butwal, Nov. 10: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has urged the people to give majority to a pro-change force in the November 19 Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

Addressing a people’s gathering organised at Saljhandi of the Rupandehi Constituency No. 5 today, Dahal said in the beginning, the CPN (UML) and Nepali Congress did not want the Constituent Assembly election and republicanism in the country. But, later they had to join the UCPN (M) line and accept them, he added.

Also addressing the programme, party leader Dr Baburam Bhattarai expressed commitments to make the country poverty-free within the next 15 years.

Party candidate from the Constituency No. 5 and central member Dadhiram Neupane vowed for holistic development of the area if the people here make him victorious in the election. RSS
