Butwal, Oct. 18: UCPN (Maoist) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said that the November 19 elections to the Constituent Assembly must be held at any cost in order to institutionalize the rights and identity established by the historical people’s movement.

Welcoming new entrants to his party at Butwal on Friday, he said the upcoming CA elections would be successful as all parties have taken it as a matter of life or death.

Stating that the Nepali people now have the responsibility of ensuring Nepal’s stability, change and economic prosperity, Chairman Dahal said his party would unite and empower the people of the Madhesh, Hills and the Tarai.

Maoist leader and Rupandehi constituency no. 2 candidate Dr Baburam Bhattarai said it was a new strategy of the party to field the senior leaders of the party from two constituencies—one in the hills and one in the madhesh. RSS
