Kathmandu, Oct. 18: The sixth NRN Global Conference and Convention is kicking off here tomorrow with the theme ‘NRNs and Nepal: Partners in Prosperity’.
The Non-Resident Nepalis Association’s international convention will take place from October 19 to 20 while the NRN global conference will take place from October 21 to 22, according to information shared at a press conference organized by the Association here Friday.
President Dr Ram Baran Yadav is scheduled to inaugurate the global conference on Monday while Chairman of the Council of Ministers will close the conference, according to NRN Association Chair Jeeva Lamichane.
The international convention will elect a new executive committee of the Association.
Some 1300 NRNs living in 50 countries across the globe are taking part in the conference. The NRN has its chapters in 65 different countries so far. RSS
