Banepa, Oct. 30: Chairman of the Unified CPN (Maoist), Pushpa Kamal Dahal, has said his party was for uniting people with federalism under his leadership.

Addressing an election gathering organized by the UCPN (Maoist) at Panchkhal of Kavre district on Wednesday, Chairman Dahal said he wanted to take the responsibility of uniting people like then king Prithvi Narayan Shah who unified the fringe Baise and Chaubise states into Nepal.

Chairman Dahal said the Constituent Assembly was the last opportunity to write new constitution as per the people’s desire. He claimed that the CA election was going to happen due to UCPN (Maoist)’s sacrifice.

According to Chairman Dahal, holding CA election again was possible after his party forwarded this concept from the General Convention held at Hetauda.

He reached Panchkhal by a helicopter to address the gathering after the poll-opposing party, CPN-Maoist called district banda to disrupt the programme. RSS
