Kathmandu, Oct. 28: The CPN-UML has expelled its leader Ram Chandra Kushwaha Pyasi from all responsibilities including membership of the party with effect from Monday, after he was found involved in the murder of the party’s central member and Bara constituency no.4 candidate for the CA election Mohammad Alam.
A press statement issued by the party Chairman Jhalanath Khanal here today also alerts the police administration to make a complete investigation of the incident and take stringent legal action against all the accomplices to the murder including Pyasi.
Alam succumbed to the bullet injuries that he had sustained after being shot at by two assailants on the Pathalaiya-Birgunj road on September 4. He died in course of treatment in the capital on September 10. RSS
