Dadeldhura, Oct. 28: Senior leader of the Nepali Congress (NC), Sher Bahadur Deuba, has said that there was a still a way to bring the CPN-Maoist to the Constituent Assembly (CA) by amending the constitution even after the CA election.

Claiming that his party had taken initiatives till last time to convince the dissenting parties including the CPN-Maoist to join the second CA election, Deuba stressed that the new CA should address the sentiments of the dissenting parties.

He assured of taking feedbacks of the dissenting parties while drafting a new constitution.Deuba said that NC was ready to discuss about an alternative way  to bring the CPN-Maoist to the CA even after the election.

Talking to media persons at Dadeldhura this morning, he said there is a wave of public support to NC across the country in view of the upcoming election.

The former prime Minister also claimed that the NC would be victorious in 21 seats in the far-western development region. RSS
