Kathmandu, Oct. 26: UCPN (Maoist) spokesperson Agni Prasad Sapkota has said that no one holds right to disturb the upcoming Constituent Assembly (CA) polls by going against the people’s sentiments and wants.

At a regular weekly press meet organized in the party headquarters, Paris Danda, this morning, the UCPN (Maoist) spokesperson said that the nationwide anti-poll activities carried out by the CPN-Maoist were illegal.

He also urged the agitating parties not to challenge the people’s right by launching the anti-poll campaigns.

Sapkota also said that enforcing strikes and thrashing the candidates by targeting the UCPN (Maoist) was completely a wrong step and added that controlling such activities was government’s main responsibility.

Saying that people’s wave was created in favor of the UCPN (Maoist) nationwide, Sapkota added that some forces were misinforming the people about the UCPN (Maoist) by being terrorized after the huge support of the people to the Maoist party. RSS
