PM office inspects developmental projects

Banepa (Kavre), May 8: A team of the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) including Secretary Durga Nidhi Sharma has expressed concern over the delay in development works in the district.

 

The team had inspected the developmental projects in the district and directed the local bodies to intensify the works as soon as possible.

 

The Kavre chief district officer (CDO) Durga Prasad Bhandari has said that the team has made them aware to the need of identifying the reasons why the developmental works are in limbo.

 

The team will inspect different developmental projects in the district for four days. The inspection started from Wednesday.

 

The team has so far inspected the different developmental projects run at Panauti Municipality and the Shankhu-Namobuddha Road Project, among others.

 

The inspection team has asked for clarifications from the chief of the respective projects over the delay in construction works, the quality of works and achievements of the projects so far, the inspection team stated.
