Kathmandu, April 16: The administration section of the Tribhuvan University (TU) Ayurved Teaching Hospital, Kirtipur has remained closed for the past 10 days due to the protests of hospital employees.
TU Employees Association, Ayurved Teaching Hospital unit has padlocked the administration section since April 7 for an indefinite period, putting forth various demands.
The Association has demanded perks and facilities to the hospital employees on a par with the facilities provided to the TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj. The Association has accused the TU administration of discriminating against the Ayuruved hospital in matters pertaining to facilities to its employees.
Unit president Krishna Bharati has said that their protests would continue until their demands are addressed. RSS
