UML CC meet discusses power sharing with NC

uml officeKathmandu, 22 Feb – The central committee (CC) meeting of the CPN (UML) has kicked off today at the party central office.

During the meeting, party Vice-chairman and coordinator of the talks team Bamdev Gautam informed the meeting about the written and verbal agreements met with the Nepali Congress (NC) on power sharing.

Gautam said the NC violated gentlemen’s agreement of giving portfolio of home ministry to the CPN (UML), CC member Krishna Gopal Shrestha told RSS.

Shrestha said that drafting constitution within a year should be UML’s major priority instead of joining the government if the agreements were not implemented.The meeting is underway.
