Kathmandu, Feb. 16: The election for the post of the Chair of the Constituent Assembly is to be held on coming February 18, Tuesday.
The fifth meeting today of the Constituent Assembly fixed the date of the election as per Rule 7(1) of the CA regulations 2065.
The meeting held under the chairmanship of pro-tem Chairman Surya Bahadur Thapa decided to entrust CA General Secretary Manohar Prasad Bhattarai to carry out necessary preparations for the election.
The CA meeting today was held for around two and a half minute.Earlier, the date of the election was agreed at the meeting of the CA Business Advisory Committee. The CA shall meet again at 5:00 pm on February 18. RSS
