Kathmandu, Feb. 5: Four seats in the Constituent Assembly (CA) are vacant, the CA meeting was formally informed today.
Senior-most CA member who was chairing the meeting today, informed the House that CA members Sushil Koirala, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Madhav Kumar Nepal and Bamdev Gautam have vacated their CA membership from Chitwan Constituency No. 4, Kailali Constituency No. 6, Kathmandu Constituency No. 2 and Bardiya Constituency No. 1, respectively.
Koirala, Deuba, Nepal and Gautam had won from two constituencies each in the November 19 Constituent Assembly Election. Koirala had won the election from Banke Constituency No. 3, Deuba from Dadeldhura Constituency No. 1, Nepal from Rautahat Constituency No. 1 and Gautam from Pyuthan Constituency No. 1 also.
The Constituent Assembly will next meet at 11 a.m. on February 12. RSS
