Kathmandu, Feb. 2: Chairman of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-Nepal) Kamal Thapa has drawn the attention of the Legislature-Parliament that the government was not serious regarding addressing the demands of the Nanda Prasad Adhikari couple from Gorkha district.

The Adhikari couple is on a hunger strike for the last 100 days demanding action against the murderers of their son.

Demanding time from the Speaker at the start of the meeting of the Legislature-Parliament today, Thapa drew the attention of the government on the need of saving the life of the Adhikari couple and taking legal action against the culprits, demanding that the government give a clear answer to the parliament on this matter.

Following this, senior-most member of the parliament Surya Bahadur Thapa, who was chairing the meeting, said the government’s attention would be drawn on this.

The House is presently deliberating on the decrees issued as per the Article 158 of the Interim Constitution of Nepal, 2007 by the President on various dates regarding removing the constitutional difficulties. RSS
