105 leprosy patients found in Parsa

Birgunj, Jan. 25: As many as 105 leprosy patients have been detected in Parsa district.The District Public Health Office, Parsa, released a data amidst an interaction programme here on Saturday.

District Public Health Officer Arun Kumar Mahato released the report and said that, out of 105 cases, 64 are communicable while 41 others are non-communicable types of leprosy.

Mahato said 14 VDCs in the district are at the high risk of leprosy while 42 VDCs have no leprosy patients. The highest numbers of leprosy patients are found in Pakaha VDC alone, according to the data. RSS
