Solukhumbu, Dec. 28: All members of the Solukhumbu District Committee of the CPN (UML) have tendered resignation en masse, on Saturday.
The UML district committee members, elected from the Fifth District General Convention, tendered resignation, saying the party’s view to look at Solukhumbu district has been narrow minded while selecting the names of the UML leaders for the Proportional Representation (PR) system in the Constituent Assembly (CA).
“A meeting of the UML District Committee, Solukhumbu, called an emergency meeting and took a decision to tender group resignation,” said Duf Kumar Banstola, Secretary of the UML Solukhumbu District Committee. RSS
