Nepal facing pakistan today in acc u-19 asia cup cricket tournament

Kathmandu, Dec. 28: Nepal is facing Pakistan today in its first match under the Asian Cricket Council (ACC) U-19 Asia Cup cricket tournament underway in the United Arab Emirates.

Nepal has been grouped together with Pakistan, India and the UAE in Group A while Group B comprises Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Malaysia.

Nepal is yet to clear the group stage of the regional tournament so far.  The Nepali team led by Bhuvan Karki includes Vice-captain Ramnaresh Giri, Prakash Bista, Lalit Singh Bhandari, Bibhatsu Thapa, Somesh Yadav, Siddhanta Lohani, Yagyaman Kumal, Aarif Sheikh, Rahul Pratap Singh, Sunil Dhamala, Raj Rijal, Susan Bhari, Prem Tamang and Amit Shrestha.

Junga Bahadur Thapa is the Chief Coach while Pradip Raj Pandey is the assistant coach of the Nepali team. Nepal plays its second match against India on December 29 and will face the UAE on December 31. The tournament ends on January 5. RSS
