President, Vice-President, Chairman’s Greetings on Christmas

Kathmandu, Dec. 25: President Dr Ram Baran Yadav has extended best wishes to all brothers and sisters of the Christian community in the country and abroad on the occasion of Merry Christmas today. He wished happiness, peace and prosperity to all on this occasion.

“Our country is rich in diverse culture and tradition, and the protection and preservation of such festivals foster mutual trust and harmony which helps in nation building and enhanced social system,” the President has said in the best wishes message, while wishing that the festival would cement fraternity and unity among all Nepalis.

Similarly, Vice-President Parmanand Jha has expressed best wishes to all Nepalis and wished for peace, stability and prosperity with the consolidation of democracy and constitution writing.

Moreover, Chairman of the Council of Ministers, Khil Raj Regmi, wished that the festival Christmas inspire all Nepalis of Christian communities in the country and abroad to boost happiness, peace and prosperity, keeping intact the unity and religious tolerance.

In the message of best wishes, Chairman Regmi said, “We Nepalis, despite from diverse religious communities, are praised for respect, reverence and tolerance to each other. We are proud of our unity and religious tolerance”, he said, adding that it was necessary to enliven the harmony and friendliness.

Similarly, he said it was now time for constitution writing and creating stability with the immediate end of transition.

“I’m confident that the talks and discussion among the political parties are oriented towards consensus to initiate CA assembly for expediting the constitution writing process,” he stressed. RSS
