Solukhumbu, Dec. 25: Number of tourists visiting Khumbu area in the Sagarmatha National Park during Mangsir (November-December) this year has dropped by 107 in comparison to the same period last year.
Total 2,665 tourists visited Khumbu area during the month this year while it was 2,772 including 46 from SAARC region and 2,726 from other countries in the same period last year.
According to Sagarmatha National Park office in Namche, total 2,665 tourists including 954 women and 1,711 men visited national park in the month.
The national park had collected revenue of Rs 6.81 million in the month of Mangsir this year. RSS
