Kapilvastu, Dec. 24: The number of patients visiting the Prithvi Bir Hospital at Taulihawa in Kapilvastu is increasing with the growing cold. Around 100 patients visit the hospital for treatment daily, according to the hospital.
The number of patients visiting the hospital has increased by two folds with the fall in mercury. Before this 50 people used to visit the hospital per day.
Especially, people suffering from fever, cold and cough, pneumonia and diarrhea are coming to the hospital, it is learnt.
Superintendent at the District Hospital, Taulihawa, Dr. Ananta Kumar Sharma, said that patients from rural areas of the district including Dohani, Labani, Pakadi, Dhamarniya, Tilaurakot and Niglihawa, among others, as well as different Wards of the Taulihawa Municipality visit the hospital.
Similarly, the number of patients has also increased in most of the sub-health posts and other medicals, said doctors at the hospital. RSS
