CIVIC CELEBRATION COMMITTEE TO MARK NATIONAL UNITY DAY

Kathmandu, Dec. 21: A-292-member Main Civic Celebration Committee has been formed to mark the National Unity Day on the occasion of the 292^nd  birthday of national unifier Prithvi Naryan Shah.

The Committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Ram Babu Prasain, former treasurer of the Nepali Congress.

Likewise, other members of committee are Deen Bandhu Aryal, Shankar Poudel, Swami Ram Baba, Chakra Bahadur Shankar and Dr. Durga Pokharel (vice-presidents), Amit Lama (general secretary) and Saday Shamsher JBR (treasurer), according to the Committee.

The National Unity Day falls on the 11^th of January. RSS
