Kathmandu, Dec. 19: The international community is united in applauding the successful conduct of the recent Constituent Assembly election.
Issuing a statement the UN Resident Coordinator for Nepal Jamie McGoldrick has said, “We offer our best wishes that the coming process will continue to involve everybody in a process of inclusive, democratic constitution making that will safeguard past achievements and gains already made.”
The previous assembly was exceptional for the unprecedented representation it gave to women and to the diversity of Nepali citizens, reads the statement. RSS
