Gaur (Rautahat), Dec. 12: Wild elephants destroyed seven houses in Laxminiya VDC of Rautahat on Thursday.
A herd of tuskers from the nearby jungle destroyed homes in Ward no. 7 and 9 of Laxminiya VDC, according to police.
The houses of Rajendra Chaudhary, Lekha Chaudhary, Thanaita Mukhiya Bin, Gogal Chaudhary, Sachin Rokka, Manjit Aley were damaged in the incident, according to sub-inspector Bidhya Sagar Thakur.
Meanwhile, an elephant control team led by Dr Suraj Chaudhary has reached Laxminiya. RSS
