Kawasoti, Dec. 11: Twelve passengers were injured when a bus met with an accident along the East-West Highway in a forest at Chormara in Nawalparasi district last night.
The bus [Na 3 Kha 8536] was heading towards Kathmandu from Nepalgunj. The bus fell some 12 metres from the road after the driver lost control, the Ilaka Police Office, Kawasoti stated.
Among the injured passengers, eight have been taken to Bharatpur for treatment while four are being treated at the Madhyabindu Community Hospital, Danda. Police suspect that the driver might have slept at the wheel leading to the accident. RSS
