Damauli, Dec 7: Thirty-three persons were injured in a bus accident occurred at Badahare of Purkot-3 in Tanahu district last night. Two among them are in serious condition.
The bus (Ga 1 Kha 4512) was carrying a marriage party from Chitwan to Besi Shahar of Lamjung.
Chhabi Ram Pariyar, 70, and Renuka Pairyar, 16, were injured seriously in the accident, said the District Police Office, Tanahu, adding that 12 were receiving treatment at Bharatpur Medical College while 21 others at Besishahar of Lamjung.
There were 55 persons in the bus. It is said the bus got accident due to over speed. The bus driver is taken under control and investigation begun, said the police. RSS
