Kathmandu, Dec. 6: Nepal has reached the final of the Journey to World Cup Cricket tournament by defeating Singapore by a huge margin of 227 runs.

In the semi-final match held at the TU Cricket Ground in Kirtipur on Friday, Nepal posted a mammoth total of 313 runs in 45 overs at the loss of five wickets.

Sharad Veswakar remained not out with 92 runs in 50 balls while Subas Khakurel contributed 75, Anil Mandal 56 and Gyanendra Malla 48 runs to the Nepali total.

In reply, Singapore, who had won the toss and opted to field first, were all out in 17.1 overs with just 86 runs on the board. RSS
