NEPAL POLICE COMMITTED TO PEOPLE SERVICE: IGP ARYAL

Kathmandu, Dec. 6: Inspector General of Police Upendra Kant Aryal has said Nepal Police is committed to carrying out its duty as per the people’s suggestions and feedbacks.

Addressing a programme organised by the Nepal Ex- Police Association central office, Dhapasi Friday, IGP Aryal said the police institution is encouraged with the successful completion of November 19 Constituent Assembly (CA) election.

On the occasion, he recalled the contribution of the entire policemen and women including martyr police to bringing the organization in the current status.

IGP Aryal illuminated a lamp wishing for eternal peace to the martyr police and offered wreath at the martyr police memorial.

Association Chairperson and former IGP Dil Bahadur Lama suggested that the IGP should establish direction relations with the people and even reach their doorstep to internalize their security problems.

Former IGP Hem Bahadur Singh, former AIG Kalyan Kumar Timilsina, Association General Secretary former AIG Rupsagar Moktan and senior vice chairperson Ganga Singh Gurung wished for the successful tenure of IGP Aryal.

Meanwhile, taking part in an interaction programme against women violence here today, IGP Aryal stressed that sate should give attention for the capacity building of women police. RSS
