Kathmandu, Dec. 6: Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi has said the formation of new government and constitution drafting will take pace after the start of the CA session very soon.
Inaugurating the Fourth Academic Assembly and Art Exhibition 2070 BS, of the Nepal Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), here today he said as the election was concluded with maximum people’s participation in a free, fair and peaceful atmosphere, economic and social development activities will start now with the start of the CA, and the days ahead are exciting for all sectors.
Chairman Regmi also said the need of the day for the art sector is to promote it in the international arena.
Also the patron of the Academy, he said cultural aspects are promoted to give message to the masses on social life and cultural aspects.
Regmi also expressed the confidence that the exhibition will attract many visitors and artists will gain fame in the national and international arena.
The assembly is chaired by Chancellor of the Academy Kiran Manandhar.
Some three dozen paintings are included in the exhibition and will run for two weeks, said academician Shanta Kumar Rai. RSS
