Nepal welcomes agreement on Iran

Kathmandu, Dec.  6: Nepal has welcomed the agreement reached between six countries including China, France, Germany, Russia, UK, USA and Iran in Geneva on November 24, 2013 on the issue surrounding Iran’s nuclear programme.

A communiqué issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs today, states that it is hoped that the agreement constituting the first step and confidence building measure will create further momentum to reach a final comprehensive solution in the months ahead.

Nepal believes that regional and global peace can be promoted and consolidated through constructive engagement, dialogue and diplomacy, it added. RSS
