Kathmandu, Dec. 4: Charge d’ Affaires of American Embassy, Charles Carwile, called on Vice-President of the Nepali Congress, Ram Chandra Poudel this morning.
During the meeting held at Poudel’s residence at Boharatar in the capital, Carwile congratulated Poudel for holding of election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) in Nepal successfully.
He also expressed the belief that a new government would be formed through consensus among political parties and a new constitution would be promulgated, said Poudel’s aide, Chiranjivi Adhikari.
Expressing gratitude over the support provided by the international community in course of the CA election, Vice-President Poudel expressed the confidence that a government would be formed and new constitution would be promulgated through the people’s mandate received from the election and consensus.
